College Students: Apply Now for a Pollution Prevention Internship Position at Hamilton Safe!

The Adams-Clermont Solid Waste District, in partnership with the solid waste management districts in Hamilton County and Butler County, is again providing funding for the Southwest Ohio Pollution Prevention (P2) Internship Program. Qualified upper-level graduate and undergraduate college students are encouraged to apply to for this paid 12-week summer internship, where they could have the opportunity to work on sustainability and pollution prevention projects at Hamilton Safe in Clermont County.

The goal of this internship program is to give businesses fresh and innovative ideas about pollution prevention, help businesses save money through the implementation of P2 solutions, give students an edge in obtaining full-time employment after graduation, and create and keep technically skilled jobs in Ohio. Past host companies include Milacron, the Cincinnati Art Museum, Ingage Partners, MadTree Brewing, Siemens, General Mills, TriHealth, 80 Acres Farms, Formica, Thyssenkrupp, and many more.
