Campaign Sign Recycling Available From November 4th to November 30

Whether your preferred levy, issue, or candidate enjoys victory or suffers defeat this Election Day, everyone can declare themselves winners by electing to reuse or easily recycle leftover campaign signs.

Most candidates, campaigns, and organizations are eager to receive their signs back for future use. Otherwise, Clermont County residents can recycle their campaign signs and sign stakes by depositing them into a clearly marked trailer at the front parking lot of the Adams-Clermont Solid Waste District headquarters, located at 2403 Old State Route 32, in Batavia Township. The trailer will be accessible to the public from dusk to dawn, beginning on Election Day and ending on November 30th.

Please note that plastic campaign signs or any type of sign stakes cannot be placed in your Rumpke or Republic curbside recycling bin or in traditional public recycling drop-off dumpsters. To learn more about what is accepted in your curbside recycling bin, or for more information about this special campaign sign recycling event, email dsnyder@clermontcountyohio.gov or call (513)732-7744.
