Adams County Recycling & Waste Disposal

RECYCLING:
Recycling reduces the amount of landfilled waste and ultimately reduces the cost of waste disposal for residents. The Adams-Clermont Solid Waste District provides 18 recycling drop-off locations throughout Adams County. Click on the recycling bin locations icon to the right or view the list below to find the recycling drop-off location closest to you. Each recycling drop-off location in Adams County is serviced by Adams Brown Recycling and processed at their facility in Georgetown, Ohio. Adams Brown Recycling is able to process the same recyclable material as Rumpke Waste and Recycling with the following exceptions: no cups of any kind, no plastics except plastic bottles, no cardboard cartons. The Solid Waste District uses a combination of stationary compactors and mobile roll-off containers throughout Adams County to collect recyclable material. All locations accept cardboard, paper, aluminum cans, steel cans, and plastic bottles. Some of the locations accept glass bottles/jars and others may not. Glass bottles/jars are not accepted in the compactors, but are accepted in the roll-off containers. By clicking on a green recycling marker on the map, you will see what items are accepted at that location.
