2021 Tire Amnesty Days

By

Spring cleaning is in full swing! Many people have been busy cleaning up their properties and garages. Everyone has been asking, “When is the next tire amnesty day???”

Every year, The Adams-Clermont Solid Waste District applies for funding for tire amnesty days through the Ohio EPA’s Recycle Ohio Community & Litter Grant. The grant was suspended last year due to the pandemic, so we did not receive any funding. We have applied for the grant again this year and we hope to know within the next few weeks if we are awarded the grant. If we are awarded the grant, we will be able to distribute funding to Townships so they can host tire amnesty events after July 1st.

Want to be the first to know about tire amnesty events in your community? Sign up for our newsletter here! When you sign up, please put your township of residence next to your name in the “name” box.

If you need to dispose of your tires ASAP, please contact any tire retailer near you. Most retailers (such as Tire Discounters) charge around $3.50/tire.

If you still have questions, please email Laura Lair at llair@clermontcountyohio.gov.
